Purchased by a syndicate headed by Windsor Park Stud, Mapperley Stud and Lion Rock Bloodstock, SAVAGLEE was crowned Champion Three-Year-Old following a winning sequence of races that culminated in victory in the Gr.1 New Zealand Two Thousand Guineas together with a runnerup finish in the Gr.1 Australian Guineas. A brilliant Group winning and Group One performed two-year-old, SAVAGLEE won 7 races and in excess of A$1.1 million and comes from an outstanding family that has produced multiple champion racehorses. SAVAGLEE is a brother-in-blood to Champion racemare ORCHESTRAL, with both of these outstanding racehorses being out of sisters by Champion Sire and Broodmare Sire O’REILLY and he is from a family also responsible for Group One winners Aegon, Daffodil and more recently Atishu and Sepals.
