The WINDSOR PARK RUGBY RACING & BEER LUNCHEON AND LIVE YEARLING SALE is upcoming dated Friday 2^nd May 11.30am. Guest speakers for the event have been confirmed as the HAYES brothers from the renowned Lindsay Park Racing dynasty along with legendary All Black Captain and world player of the year, KIERAN READ. MC for the event will be Christchurch’s favourite lad GREG O’CONNER who is joined with the world’s best auctioneer STEVE DAVIS.

 

The success of our sale was again highlighted on Wednesday when PROVED (Lot 1 in 2022 sale) and Collect Your Cash (Lot 4 in 2022 sale) both won at Sandown and Randwick respectively.

 

PROVED, who remains unbeaten after 5 starts won in good style keeping her picket fence form line intact. She has now earned over NZD$132,000 in stakes including wins at Moonee Valley and Sandown. Purchased by Enver Jusufovic for just $11,000, she has been patiently handled and now looks to tackle some lucrative targets.

 

COLLECT YOUR CASH, the stakeswinning graduate from our sale was originally knocked down to Ben Kwok for $15,000 from our sale. He went on to win the Dunedin Guineas for Shankar Muniandy and then on sold to clients of Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott where he had his first start for a dominant first up win for the new yard.

 

In total, if you bought every horse (18) from our first 2 sales you would have 28 wins, have a stakes winner, a stakes placed filly, a couple of Metropolitan Australian winners and an impressive 40% return on investment with prizemoney earnt. The only runner from our 3^rd sale, who are 2YO’s is PINK GIN, who has placed 2^nd on both occasions and looks destined for a win at short notice.
