Sansom who is unbeaten this preparation was winning his third race in a row to continue his rise through the grades following back to back wins at Pakenham. 

Stokes purchased the strapping son of Charm Spirit (Invincible Spirit) for $140,000 at the 2018 Gold Coast Magic Millions sale. 

Charm Spirit is a triple Gr.1 winning miler of the Prix du Moulin de Longchamp and Ascot’s showpiece championship mile event, the Queen Elizabeth II Stakes and is Invincible Spirit’s highest earning son.

Charm Spirit stands at Windsor Park Stud, Cambridge and with his first southern hemisphere crop rising 3YO’s he has already sired leading 2019 2YO and Group winner Aretha as well as stakes placed Jager Bombed to go with his two northern hemisphere 2YO stakes winners.
