Rockstar debut winner for Turn Me Loose
30 MARCH, RACENEWS
Following three impressive trials wins and highly touted as a filly with a big future, the Jamie Richards trained Victoria Roc (Turn Me Loose) lived up to the hype with an immaculate winning performance at Matamata today.
Travelling well just off the pace, the big daughter of Turn Me Loose (Iffraaj) cruised up the leaders early in the home straight before jockey Opie Bosson hit the ‘go’ button and she drew clear for a facile 3 ¾ length win.
Bred by Jonny Hendriksen’s Mangawhai Village Development Trust, Victoria Roc is a daughter of the Fastnet Rock mare Cap Eden Roc, dam also of the talented stakes performer Belle Roc.
