BIG WEEKEND FOR RESIDENT MARE ANGELICA HALL
Some well informed bets were rewarded when talented 3YO KUNG FU FIGHTING (pictured below as a yearling) won on debut at Murray Bridge on Sunday.
The smart son of TURN ME LOOSE and ANGELICA HALL sustained an excellent gallop to get up on the post after what looked to be an impossible task at the 100 meter mark. Kung Fu Fighting became the sires 7th individual winner and he certainly looks to be progressive in the stable of Tony and Calvin McEvoy.
Moreover, Kung Fu Fighting’s dam, Angelica Hall had a memorable weekend with the young mare’s Savabeel daughter ANGELIC MISS taking out the Jungle Classic (L) in Perth making it back to back stakes wins for the Simon Miller Racing trained galloper. A $250,000 Inglis Easter purchase from our draft, the mare certainly looks to have more instore moving forward.
Angelica Hall, stakes placed herself is from the great Windsor Park family of Golden Sword, Mulan Princess, Greta Hall and Falkirk.
ANGELICA HALL has a positive pregnancy test to our new Champion triple group 1 winning miler, CIRCUS MAXIMUS.
