Trainer Cliff Brown is eyeing a tilt in the Dubai Turf (Gr 1, 1800m) at Meydan on 25 March with Windsor Park-bred Debt Collector (Thorn Park), who is unbeaten in his last seven runs in Singapore.
“Debt Collector will have a couple of runs here. I’m still working out which races he will run in,” said Brown.
“Provided he’s going well enough, we hope to go to Dubai for the Dubai Turf. I’ve spoken to the owners, and that would be the end goal, but I must stress again that he must be going well enough or else, he will stay here. We will make a final decision after his second run. If he goes, Michael Rodd will, of course, be part of the Dubai plan. The horse just came back into work and is going really well.”
