Diamonds Pour Moi (2f Pour Moi-Diamond Light, by Fantastic Light) looked another exciting prospect for Pour Moi when winning on her debut at Kempton on Monday.
Trained by Ralph Beckett and carrying the colours of Sheikh Fahad Al Thani’s Pearl Bloodstock, she saw off what looked a good field to win the mile maiden by a length.
“Diamonds Pour Moi has got a lot of the attributes of her sire. She was very professional and has got a change of gears even though she led – there was no pace early. She is a filly to look forward to next year,” winning rider Oisin Murphy told the Racing Post.
A day earlier, trainer Endo Botti sent out Freedom Beel (2c Pour Moi-Querida by Rainbow Quest) to win his first racecourse start by three and three-quarter lengths at Pisa.
