Allez Eagle’s dam soaring high
08 Oct 2015 | By Racenews

A treble of winners for successful Volksraad mare Alleyrun has provided her breeder and owner John Bishop with a week he will long remember.

A Group placed winner of 6 races herself, Alleyrun is the dam of last Saturday’s impressive Hastings Group race winner Allez Eagle (Guillotine).

The third foal of his dam, Allez Eagle was recording his eighth win for connections who are now aiming for Gr.1 glory in the Windsor Park Plate at Trentham on October 24th.

The following day in Hong Kong it was the turn of Regency Darling (Guillotine), Alley Run’s fourth foal and a brother to Allez Eagle, to register his maiden success over 1200m at Sha Tin.

A $180,000 New Zealand Bloodstock Ready To Run Sales graduate Regency Darling was winning fresh-up in the new season at just his fourth raceday appearance.

Alleyrun’s fifth foal Stationery World, a 3YO gelding by TheWayYouAre, became her third winner for the week at Taupo yesterday when breaking his maiden in the NZI 3YO over 1000m.

Successful at just his second raceday start, Stationery World was purchased for $150,000 by Hong Kong based owner Simon To at the 2014 NZ Bloodstock National Yearling sales.

Alleyrun will be represented by a Guillotine colt, a brother to Allez Eagle and Regency Darling, at the 2016 NZ Bloodstock National Yearling sales at Karaka next January.
